Jordan Thompson is a filmmaker born in Colorado but who calls Oregon home. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Film from Portland State University. Jordan has been a storyteller since he was a kid recording shorts on his parents' camcorder. He once aspired to be an author and a video game designer too. Ultimately, Jordan settled on the medium of film for telling stories because he considers it to be the most satisfying art -- one that combines visual and sonic art.

Throughout his time at PSU, Jordan specialized in Cinematography and earned himself several credits serving in this role on various student and personal short film productions. He takes pride in finding creative ways to use light and shot composition to support and interpret the story. Jordan also has competencies in  other filmmaking skills such as directing, writing, editing, color grading, and sound mixing. He is excited to take on new and challenging opportunities to use his technical and creative abilities in service to meaningful collaborations and great storytelling.
